BOLIVAR COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING, INC.

 

BCCOA  is a public non-profit 501(c)3 agency established to ensure that everyone has access to safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective transportation in the Mississippi Delta. It was founded by the late Dr. Juniper Yates "JY" Trice. The "Dean" of Public Transportation. 

MISSION

The mission of Bolivar County Council on Aging, Inc. is to provide safe, efficient, reliable, passenger-focused and cost-effective transportation which enhances lives to allow people to live independently and with dignity 

GOAL

The goal of Bolivar County Council on Aging, Inc. is to transport individuals safely to employment, educational, medical, social destinations and to access healthy food options. Through a range of transportation services, we increase access for individuals in local communities to needed and desired goods and services. We are committed to providing affordable transportation and keeping costs lower to our passengers through the coordination of resources and partnerships from the Federal Transit Authority and other contracts.
